  • Enacted in 1935 as part of the Social Security Act, the Title V Maternal and Child Health Program is the Nation’s oldest Federal-State partnership. For over 75 years, the Title V Program has provided a foundation for ensuring the health of the Nation’s mothers, women, children, and youth with special health care needs and their families.
  • For this contract period, the Gasconade County Health Department will be focusing on the health priority:
    • Unintentional Injuries related to motor vehicle accidents in adolescents, 10-19 years of age.
  • The Health Department is partnering with Coalition for Roadway Safety and other local agencies to reduce unintentional injuries related to motor vehicle accidents in adolescents.
